LAikro Games ("LAikro", "we", "us") runs laikro.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.
What we collect
- Tester sign-ups: your name and email address, when you fill in the Become a tester form.
- Emails you send us: your email address and anything you include in your message to hello@laikro.com.
- Technical information: when you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically handles basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver and protect the site.
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell your personal information.
How we use it
- To review tester sign-ups and contact you if you're selected to test our games.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To keep the website working, secure and protected from abuse.
We use your sign-up details because you choose to give them to us. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.
Who helps us
We use trusted service providers, who may process information outside Nigeria:
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and forwards emails sent to hello@laikro.com.
- Web3Forms: delivers tester sign-ups to our inbox.
- Google: Gmail stores our emails and sign-ups, and Google Fonts provides the text style on this site, which means your browser connects to Google when the page loads.
How long we keep it
We keep tester sign-ups until testing for that game has finished, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your message.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct information that's wrong
- delete your information
- stop using your information, including withdrawing your consent
Email hello@laikro.com to make a request. If you're not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children
If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before signing up as a tester.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
